James Montgomery Boice was president and co-founder of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, sponsor of The Bible Study Hour radio program on which Dr. Boice was speaker from 1969 until his death in 2000. He was the Senior Minister of Tenth Presbyterian Church, which because of his leadership is a model for ministry in America’s northeastern inner cities. Dr. Boice wrote almost sixty books on the Bible and biblical themes. He held degrees from Harvard University (A.B.), Princeton Theological Seminary (B.D.), the University of Basel, Switzerland (D.Theol.), and the Theological Seminary of the Reformed Episcopal Church (D.D., honorary).
