Tim Tinsley grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and attended Wheaton College, where he played football and baseball, and graduated in 1980. In Chicago, he worked in Youth for Christ until 1983. Tim moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to be the Youth Pastor at Calvary Church until 1988, and then he was the Youth Director at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. In 1991, Tim moved to Dallas, Texas, to work as Youth Director at Park Cities Presbyterian Church and attended Dallas Theological Seminary, where he graduated in 1996. Tim is currently the Pastor of Evangelism at Park Cities Presbyterian Church. He also preaches on Sunday evenings, disciples men, and is privileged to travel the world teaching in seminaries and training church planters. Tim and Laura have seven children and three grandchildren. His hobbies include golfing, fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles. |
