Tullian Tchividjian and Wife, Kim

"Godward Living" is the ministry of New City Church. Tullian Tchividjian is the pastor-teacher of this program.

Pastor Tullian Tchividjian is the middle child of seven born to Dr. Stephan and Gigi Tchividjian. A Florida native who met his wife right here in South Florida, he and Kim are the proud parents of three children: Gabriel, Nathan, and Genna Ruth. Even though Tullian grew up in a loving Christian home, he ran from the Lord for many years. It wasn’t until 1993 that God radically brought Tullian to Himself, giving him a passion to see the glory of God revealed in all things and in all places.

After graduating with honors from Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina, with a degree in Bible and Philosophy, his interest in Theology then led him to Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL., where he received a Master of Divinity degree in May 2001. He served on the pastoral staff of three churches before he moved back home to South Florida to start New City Church in the summer of 2003.

God has generously given Tullian many opportunities to preach, teach, and minister throughout the United States. He is the author of The Kingdom of God: A Primer on the Christian Life. Along with a number of published articles, Tullian has been the contributor to three books, Prodigals and Those that Love Them, by his grandmother Ruth Bell Graham, The Younger Evangelicals: Facing the Challenges of the New World, by Dr. Robert E. Webber, and Loving Your Relatives, by David and Claudia Arp.

Tullian has joyfully come back to South Florida with a passion “to make God’s invisible Kingdom visible by worshipping God the Father, through God the Son, in God the Spirit.”
