Sam Murrell is the Senior Pastor of New Beginnings Community Church. Sam is a native of Florida and a graduate of Covenant College (Lookout Mountain, GA.) where he obtained a Bachelor’s of Music degree. He has a Masters of Divinity from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO., and has done post graduate work at Calvin Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Sam has had a broad range of ministry experience including church planting, overseeing the daily operations of a homeless shelter, working with troubled youth, serving as a praise and worship leader, and he has served on the pastoral staff of two churches.

He is passionate about the doctrines of grace and believes that the gospel is the only hope for turning around the current crisis in African American culture.
